The FundRise Project is a social enterprise. This means our operational goals focus on supporting people in our community, the businesses and organisations that exist within them.. Our operations are not for profit.

We network with regional and local business for the purpose of building stronger communities.

How Are We Doing That ?

We’re working with a company called Find It Locally and Not For Profit organisations to build digital community notice boards and hubs to develop resilient local communities – ones that can support wellbeing and opportunity for all local residents.

We reach out to local, regional and national businesses to promote themselves in our noticeboards.  We then channel that revenue towards opportunities for everyone.

We like to remind locals communities to acknowledge the contribution that local businesses can make to their community and to support their brands.

Think Local Business ~ Sustain Local Communites.

We can build sustainable communities with opportunities for everyone.

We offer volunteering opportunities within our Social Enterprise.  We have two main roles for volunteers.

Networking

Reach out to local businesses about our project and explain the opportunity to engage in very low cost local and regional marketing as a way to build both opportunity for locals, and capture greater brand loyalty.

Web Work

The second role is web-based and requires some level of computing and software skills such as MS Word  and MS Excel.

The platform we work on needs content input. This means adding images, adding data and maintaining records on-line.  We also use simple Spreadsheets that store business and community details.  These need to be verified and updated over the year.

 Training Provided

Everyone volunteering with us has access to free training.  This is largely conducted using a computer and a program like ‘ZOOM’ so our teams can learn and work together.

If you would like to learn or improve skills while helping us to develop our Digital Community Hubs,  let us know.  Volunteering can be a good source of work experience and an a chance to learn first hand where opportunities for careers lie for you in your community.

Is There Paid Work ?

If you are interested in a career pathway in Community Marketing, we provide startup support for people looking to become self-employed or are wanting to add to their current business portfolio.
