FUNDRISE PROJECT
Our project supports NFP organisations take up a lead role as ‘Community Partners’ in their local area. Using digital community platforms developed by one of our social enterprise partners “Find It Locally”, our Community Partners can harness the platform, access training and mentoring to open up new and engaging community spaces that can also provide NFPs with revenue opportunities.
- this is a six month project with opportunities to extend
- digital hubs are pre-designed web-spaces that include a range of digital tools
- hubs can be populated to strengthen understanding of the community’s many ‘voices’,
- training and mentoring to create a meaningful community presence
- fundraising and revenue opportunities.

Community Partners use the project to promote local resources (services, events, local business), and support networks through culturally relevant community noticeboards. In this way, digital community hubs become the focus point for local community enquiry and interest, including commercial, community and local government resources and services, learning and wellbeing, local events and tourism interests.
Community Partners are encouraged to include volunteers within their project implementation model. Particularly volunteers who would benefit from skills development, workplace experience and/or a new pathway to employment. Community Partners may incorporate elements of project actions and community hub development within their own training programs. Ie Digital Marketing, Web development, Community research.
